Approximately 2 months ago I phoned Boyut Marine regarding my anchoring problem. With Mr. Erkutay’s address descriptions, I found their place in an industrial area. They introduced their anchor Ultra with tea, coffee and some chat. They of course showed their sand box, as well. I was convinced and I placed an order??? on an Ultra anchor.

They told me that they will be coming to Bodrum for the International Bodrum Yacht Show at the end of August and they said they can deliver my anchor at that show. I visited them at the Show, again they welcomed me with their all kindness and tenderness, and they also introduced their other products and delivered my anchor.

I have changed my existing anchor immediately and started to use Ultra at the next day. I WAS CHEATED yes I WAS CCCCCHHHHEEEEAAAATTTTTEEEEEDDDDD….???

Yes, you did not get me wrong, all kindness and tenderness, coffee and tea….

That huge company cheated me and sold me a MOBILE ARCH instead of an anchor.  Unfortunately, wherever you throw Ultra (even it is concrete) you stay right there. If your chain is short you have no chance to come close to shore. 27kg Mobile Arch as soon as touches the sea bed holds like an octopus. It is impossible to change its place; using ultra is too but too hard.

I congratulate Boyut Marine Company with all my heart. I thank to each of them. Be always as creative, as tenderness as you are…..
